Tangerine Dream

With the fresh crop of tangerines showing up at the markets this is an excellent winter smoothie. Keeping it simple really helps to let the true flavors shine through, and what a dream they are.

10 to 12 tangerines

3 to 4 bananas

2 heads butter lettuce


Optional additions:

Lettuce or mild greens of your choice

½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Fresh ginger root

Fennel root

Celery

1 teaspoon chia or flax seed
