Q What type of juicers do you recommend for a tight budget.

A I think the most important thing is that any juicer you purchase should have the capability to juice leafy greens. A juicer like that might cost a little more, but juicing greens is the secret to good health. Samson and Breville make a few pretty good juicers that will juice greens and might be in your price range.

Hurom makes a vertical slow juicer that is a great value, reliable, and easier to clean than most. Having a juicer that is easy to clean is important because if it’s too much of a hassle you won’t juice at all. I have two juicers at home and the Hurom is the one that gets used the most.

And remember, lots of greens with a very little fruit. Happy Juicing!
