Date Bars

This recipe is very simple, and oh so yummy. Only two ingredients are needed, dates and walnuts. The recipe calls for wet dates meaning those that are softer and moist.

I cup chopped walnuts

2 cups wet dates pitted and chopped

Form dates into small logs, approx 2” long by ¾” thick.

Roll date logs in walnuts and refrigerate for 1 hour.

cant stop eating

I soaked my dates so they would be soft. chopped and rolled them.
I crushed some pecans, i didn't have walnuts, and prefer pecans.


i have packed one roll a day for work and ate one for dessert. love them.
