Q Does beet root need to be cooked before juicing?

A No Alan, it should most definitely not be cooked before juicing. The cooking would destroy many of the nutrients that we are looking to glean from fresh raw produce.

Do go easy on the beet root to start with as it can be quite a cleanser.

Beets are a great digestive system & kidney cleanser, and contain high levels of copper, magnesium, potassium, iron, manganese and potassium.
