High potassium levels

by Connie

Q I have extremely high potassium levels. Please give me a list of raw vegetables that will lower my potassium.

A Anything containing sodium will balance potassium. Leafy greens, spinach, bok choy, celery, and tomatoes are a few, but you might look to what is causing the high potassium levels.

A well balanced healthy diet should provide a balance of nutrients, but sometimes there are issues with lack of complimentary foods helping with the uptake of certain nutrients or a weak digestive system which also might keep nutrients from being assimilated.

Eating habits may also have an influence on assimilation of nutrients as does hydration.
