Ginger Hopper with Lemon

This is another version of the original ginger hopper, which consists of carrot, apple juice, and a chunk of fresh ginger root. This is a very refreshing juice that is great any time of year. It has a fairly good calorie count so is good before a workout, or afterwards to recover.

Drinking juice before a workout is an excellent way to fuel up but not fill up. If you eat a solid meal before a workout the meal will most likely not digest well. The same goes for after a workout. You want to get nutrition back into your body as quickly and easily as possible and fresh juice is ideal for that.
Run all the ingredients through your juicer and enjoy!

I have tried the ginger shots many times before which contains only lemon and ginger. And at times I have even added some sliced apple to add taste. But this combination was all together a new experience for me and I did enjoy it to the max.

I am new to juicing and couldnt make up my mind which of the recipes to try out first but this one seemed to be the best and I had the ingredients anyway. And I am so glad I tried it! It won over my whole family too! It really was delicous. We poured it over ice and I can honestly say that this is one juicing recipe that I will be trying over and over again.

I had a ripe pear I needed to use and it was very yummy. I also peeled part of thr rind from the lemon, because its to bitter to me.

First juicer try

This juice was very tasty... I was unsure about the lemon because the other juices I've tried, the lemon tended to over power the drink.. but this juice was delish!

I only used 2 carrots (because I don't like how overpowering they can be). I also used a whole lemon instead of a half, and about 2 tbsp of ginger. This recipe was great. I didn't find the carrots overpowering at all, and would even consider using a third carrot next time.
